9 – Check Digit (0 through 9 or X)
10 – Model Year (V = 1997, X= 1999, Y= 2000, 1= 2001, 2= 2002)
11 – Assembly Plant (V = Conner Avenue Assembly Plant)
12 thru 17 – Sequence number (Six digit number assigned by the assembly plant)
